Woman Stabbed in Metrobus Dispute in Southeast

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — An altercation on a Metrobus in southeast has led to physical violence, police say.

Metro Transit Police say two female passengers got into a verbal altercation on a Metrobus near Benning Road and E Street, SE, at about 11:42 a.m. Saturday.

The incident escalated into a physical altercation when one female involved slashed the forehead of another female.

The assailant fled on foot and the victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing as police review video surveillance taken from the bus.
