Video: Woman Robbed at ATM by Shotgun Wielding Man

TYSONS CORNER, Va. (CBSDC) — Fairfax County Police are trying to identify the person responsible for a frightening armed robbery near Tysons Corner.

A 37-year-old woman was using an ATM at a Bank of America branch, located in the 8300 block of Greensboro Drive, around 8:45 p.m. Sunday when a shotgun-wielding man approached her from behind and demanded money, police say.

Video released by authorities shows the woman gave the armed man cash as well as her purse before he fled the area.

Police say the man was seen getting into a dark color, older model, 4-door SUV with a roof rack and spare tire on the outside. The vehicle is similar in description to a Honda CRV.
