LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC)— In its 101st year, the National Cherry Blossom Festival is taking the tech leap.

That’s right, there’s officially an app for that. It’s free, and available for both Android and iPhone.

It puts information about festival events, history, discounts, transportation, dining and shopping at users’ fingertips.

The International Spy Museum is getting in on the digital fun, too.

It has created a challenge through the SCVNGR app (also available on Android or iPhone), which combines cherry blossoms and espionage. SCVNGR awards the completion of challenges with points, which will unlock rewards redeemable in the museum complex. Details are top secret… unless you download the app.

While you’re on your smartphone, take a moment to tweet your festival pictures to @WNEWNews using the hashtag #Blossoms.
