ANNAPOLIS, Md. (CBSDC) - While it may seem odd to see a Farmer’s Market in the parking garage of a shopping mall, the Westfield Annapolis Winter Farmer’s Market at Westfield Annapolis Mall is actually quite convenient for shoppers.
“We thought it would be nice to have a year-round market,” Lisa Barge, the Agricultural and Marketing Development Manager for Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation said. “We started it out and found out that it was a pretty popular market.”
Consider the simplicity of stepping out of the mall and being able to save a trip to the grocery store. The market has a full array of offerings, like beef, lamb, pork, chicken, eggs, baked goods and greens.
The winter market – located in the orange parking garage next to Macy’s – will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays, March 17 and 31, and April 7 and 21.
