LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — A Virginia teenager has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a fellow student in a Broad Run High School hallway earlier this week.

Loudoun County police said a 15-year-old male from Ashburn grabbed a female student after school Tuesday and pulled her into an empty hallway where he held her against her will. The girl fought off the male student and was able to escape the hallway and alert school officials.

Police arrested the teen Wednesday and charged him with aggravated sexual battery and abduction with the intent to defile.

The teen is being held at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center.
