LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — One adult and seven students are in the hospital following a four-vehicle crash that included two school buses in Northwest D.C.
Police say the collision occurred near the intersection of 5th Street and Florida Avenue NW shortly before 9 a.m.
One person at the scene has been arrested for DUI according to authorities.
Both buses, carrying four and three children respectively, were able to drive away and received police escorts to a local hospital. School officials say no students were injured in the crash and were taken to the hospital for observation only.
