Md. Police Seeking Help in Locating Missing Teenage Girls

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC)- Two Silver Spring teenagers have been missing since March 8, and Montgomery County Police Department detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding them.

Diamond Marie Thaggard is 17, and is described as a black female with brown eyes and brown hair in twists. She is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs approximately 185 pounds. She has a tattoo of her date of birth on her left hand and wears glasses.

Ashley is described as black female with brown eyes and black curly hair. She has piercings in her nose, eyebrow, and navel. Ashley was last seen wearing a black jacket and red and white sneakers.

Neither of the girls have contacted their families since leaving home. They are known to frequent the Silver Spring and Gaithersburg areas.

Anyone who has information about their whereabouts is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000. Callers may remain anonymous.
