ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Maryland’s Bay Bridge is closed in both directions due to high winds.
The Maryland Transportation Authority said Wednesday about 2:30 p.m. that the bridge that crosses over the Chesapeake Bay is closed. Officials said they would monitor the situation and reopen the bridge when it is safe.
Earlier, two lanes of the westbound span of the bridge were shut down due to an overturned tractor trailer.
