LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC)- A blaze at a garage that houses fuel trucks near the intersection of Route 1 and Main Street in Laurel has been extinguished, according to fire officials.
The fire, which was called in at 7 p.m., was at Laurel Heating and Oil Company. Northbound Route 1 was closed at Main Street for a few hours, but has since been reopened.
Authorities say one firefighter sustained a minor injury. Property damage includes the oil trucks and the garage itself. The company building seems to be structurally sound.
