LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC)- A Loudoun County teacher was arrested Monday after the school resource officer at Broad Run High in Ashburn was notified that the man was possibly under the influence of alcohol.

Michael L. Hitzges, 47, is a driver education instructor and has been at the school since 2004.

He is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center and is charged with being drunk in public, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
