(LANHAM, Md.) — A judge declared a mistrial in the 2009 double murder case involving a mother and daughter, Monday.

The case involved a man that was already convicted and sentenced to 100-year prison term for violent crimes he committed throughout Prince George’s county.

Jason Scott was charged in the murder of Delores Dewitt and her 20-year old daughter Ebony.

Scott, 29, a former UPS worker, was sentenced in 2012 for dozens of armed home invasions and burglaries.
