OXON HILL, Md.— A 28-year-old woman has been charged with fatally stabbing her mother’s boyfriend in Oxon Hill.
Prince George’s County police say 28-year-old Kimberly Smith was taken into custody at the scene of the slaying, which occurred late Thursday night at her home.
Police say 51-year-old Charles Blyther was arguing with Smith’s mother when Smith grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed Blyther. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Police say Smith told investigators she was involved in the killing, and the knife was recovered.
