LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC)- A Metro bus carrying between 30 and 35 people collided with a Mitsubishi sedan on Interstate 66 at the Dulles Toll Road shortly after 4 p.m. Friday, according to Virginia State Police.
After the impact, the bus came to rest to the side of the road against the guard rail. Two passengers and both drivers were transported by ambulance to Reston Hospital. None of the injuries appear to be life threatening.
Shortly after 5 p.m., another Metro bus arrived on scene to transport the remaining passengers to their final destination. The westbound ramp from I-66 to Route 267/Dulles Toll Road was closed immediately following the crash.
