WASHINGTON — D.C. police say a Maryland man died after he fell and was run over by a car on a street in the NoMa neighborhood near Union Station.
Police say 20-year-old Darnell Ross of Upper Marlboro, Md., was in a crosswalk when he fell Saturday night and was struck. The car that ran over him did not stop. Ross was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident and looking for the driver.
