The Woodrow Wilson House is holding an open house Saturday afternoon in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the president’s first inauguration.
The open house – located at 2340 S Street, NW, near the intersection of S and 24th Streets in Embassy Row – is being held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Woodrow Wilson House was the home to President Wilson and his wife after he retired from the White House in 1921, and until his death in 1924.
Edith Wilson continued to inhabit the home until her death in 1961, at which point it was bequeathed to the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
