Just over a month after the complete reconstruction of Robert Griffin III’s knee, reports have surfaced that his recovery is on pace to have him healed in time for Week 1 of the 2013 NFL season.
Redskins officials already are encouraged enough with @RGIII's recovery to believe he has a legitimate chance to start on opening day.

“I have a feeling you’re a little nervous,” Holden Kushner said after mentioning the report on 106.7 The Fan’s Holden and Danny Thursday.
“Stop doing this,” Danny responded. “Stop it. Stop it right now. Stop leaking stuff to Schefter. Stop it. The worst thing you can do is rush this kid in any capacity. Everyt time someone sticks amic in front of your face; any time someone puts a tape recorder in front of you. This is what you say:
‘It’s going to take as long as it has to for him to be 100% out there.’”
“You know who did that?” Holden asked. “The Chicago bulls with Derrick Rose.”
“Weird,” Danny jabbed.
“They just did that yesterday,” Holden prodded back.
“Weird that you would do that with a superstar that made you relevant,” Danny said. “You know what you’re doing? You’re setting him up for re-injury.”
One would have reason to worry that if the team has in fact already set such a rigorous timetable for RGIII’s recovery, the Shanahans have learned nothing since sending him back in to get re-injured against the Seahawks.
