LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC)- A man and a woman have been charged in connection with the Dec. 27 murder of 30-year-old Jovaughn Johnson, who was found dead in a car in Sterling.
Ryan B. Williams, 32, formally of the Loudoun County area, and 23-year-old Linsey B. Hardwick, of Leesburg, were both charged with first degree murder Tuesday. Both are being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center and are awaiting arraignment on the charges.
Johnson’s death was ruled a homicide by the State Medical Examiner after police found him unresponsive in a white Mercedes Benz SUV near Great Trail Terrace and Trail Run Terrace. He had sustained a gunshot wound.
The investigation continues and additional arrests are expected in this case.
