ROCKVILLE, Md. (CBSDC/AP) — Police in Montgomery County say a man is dead after being struck by a car while crossing a street in the Aspen Hill area.
Police say the man was hit by a white 2005 Nissan Altima around 10:20 p.m. Monday while crossing Georgia Avenue at Heathfield Road. The man was flown to Suburban Hospital where he later died, police say.
The victim is identified as 59-year-old Frank Sedwick of Silver Spring.
Police are investigating the crash.
