UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — Prince George’s County Police have arrested a suspect in the shooting death of a North Carolina man.

Officers say Thursday that 26-year-old Brandon Anthony Battle of Greenbelt has been charged with first- and second-degree murder in the death of 20-year-old Salaam Adams of Durham.

Police found Adams’ body early Monday in Hillcrest Heights. He had sustained an apparent gunshot wound.

Battle is being held without bond.
