UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — Prince George’s County Police have charged a Hyattsville man in a slaying in Capitol Heights.

Police said Wednesday that 23-year-old Johnathan Brandon Walker has been charged with first- and second-degree murder in the death of 21-year-old Nicholas Andrew Battle of Capitol Heights.

Battle was found dead of a gunshot wound in Capitol Heights on Dec. 27.

Walker is being held without bond.
