Police Searching for Double-Dipping Bank Robber

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — D.C. police are looking for a woman who allegedly robbed two banks within minutes of each other on Monday morning.

Police said a PNC Bank in the 4000 block of Wisconsin Avenue in Northwest was robbed at about 9:18 a.m. Less than 20 minutes later, at about 9:34 a.m., a Bank of America in the 3400 block of Connecticut Avenue in Northwest was robbed.

Police said the suspect made off with money in both cases.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic female, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with curly hair and wearing a black bubble coat with a band-aid on her lip area.
