LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — One man has been killed and two others injured in a car accident Friday afternoon that has shut down Batchellors Forest Road in Olney.

Police have closed Batchellors Forest Road, just south of Doctor Bird Road, as they continue to investigate the single-vehicle accident that occurred at about 4:30 p.m. in the 16000 block of Batchellors Forest Road.

Officials said the man who died was a passenger in the car.

The other two men in the car both were injured, with one of them suffering life-threatening injuries.
