Redskins Raise Parking and Ticket Prices for Upcoming Season

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — The Washington Redskins are raising ticket prices for the first time in seven years and upping the cost of parking as well.

The spin from Ashburn is “2013 tickets will remain among the most affordable in the division.”

General Admission ticket prices will be increased by “no more than 10 percent” while fans will now have to pay $40 to park in the FedEx Field parking lots.

The team says fans can look forward to a number of upgrades to the game day experience, including parking and public safety initiatives to “create a safe and enjoyable fan experience both inside the stadium and in the parking lots.”

Reserved spaces, bus/RV and limo pass prices will remain unchanged.

The team posted its first winning record in five seasons in 2012.
