LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — D.C. police are looking for a man who kidnapped and sexually assaulted a teenage girl Thursday morning.

Police said a 16-year-old girl was walking in the 5100 block of Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue NE at about 9 a.m. when she was grabbed from behind by a black male and forced into his SUV. Police said the man then drove the girl a short distance away, groped her and let her go.

Police describe the suspect as a black male with a light complexion in his late 20s, standing 5 feet 7 inches, weighing about 200 pounds, with long corn row hairstyle, crooked teeth, and bulging eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and was operating an older model black SUV.

Police ask anyone with information on this incident to contact the Metropolitan Police Department’s Youth Investigations Division at 202-727-4383.
