WASHINGTON — Police say a passenger was stabbed on a Metrobus in Northeast Washington.
D.C. police say the assault happened near 11th and H streets NE just before 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Police found a man conscious and breathing. He was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
Metro officials say the man was stabbed twice in the chest by another man. It happened aboard an X2 bus headed toward Lafayette Square.
It wasn’t immediately clear what might have been the motive for the attack. Police were searching for the suspect.
