LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) – A 4-year-old boy is in the hospital after being hit by a car in Prince George’s County.

Police say it happened at about 6:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 6000 block of Beezewood Drive in Greenbelt. The boy sustained injuries, but police haven’t released any details due to his age.

The vehicle involved in the accident stayed on scene, according to police.
