LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Police received two reports of a man who exposed himself near the University of Maryland, College Park campus on Tuesday and are investigating the incidents.

Prince George’s County police responded to the first incident, which occurred at about 8:45 a.m. off-campus in the 4500 block of College Avenue. A female said she was walking along College Avenue when she saw a white male in his 40s expose himself while standing next to a silver Ford Explorer. The man then got in the vehicle and left the area and police were unable to locate him.

University of Maryland police responded to the second incident, a report of a suspcious male at about 1:45 p.m. on-campus in the area of the hiker-biker trail near parking lot 11B. A female walking in the area said she saw a man in his 20s who appeared to expose himself.

Police said there currently does not appear to be a correlation between the two incidents.

Both county and university police are investigating the incidents.
