Victim of Fatal D.C. Ambulance Crash Identified

WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP)— The woman who died Friday after her van rammed into the back of a D.C. ambulance has been identified as 31-year-old Christina Latrice King of Waldorf.
Just before 2 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Southern Avenue and 13th Street SE, King’s vehicle struck a car before hitting the ambulance. The ambulance then hit two other cars.
Five other people, including two paramedics, were taken to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
Southern Avenue was blocked for hours near 12th Street, SE and diverted to Suitland Parkway.
