WASHINGTON— District of Columbia police are searching for a suspect who opened fire at a northeast Washington nightclub, sending five people to the hospital.

Police say it happened around 2 a.m. Saturday at the D.C. Soundstage nightclub on Benning Road. Police say all five people who were shot are expected to survive.

On Saturday morning, police said they did not have a suspect or a motive in the shooting.
