WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — A 21-year-old Northwest D.C. man has been arrested and charged with first degree murder in the shooting of a Takoma Park teenager early Friday morning.

Police say Alexander D. Buckley knew 18-year-old Siohban Nicole Lee, who police found on a sidewalk near the intersection of 5th Street and Nicholson Street around 3:30 a.m. while responding to a report of an unconscious person. Lee had been shot in the head.

Her body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner where she was officially pronounced dead.

Authorities say they did not receive any reports of gunfire in the area at the time. However, a nearby resident tells WNEW reporter John Domen they heard a gun shot shortly before police arrived.
