LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — A car accident has left 680 Dominion Power customers without power in Alexandria.
Alexandria police said a car struck a utility pole at North Henry Street and First Street on Thursday morning, breaking the pole and multiple crossarms.
A Dominion spokesperson said crews currently are on the scene and making repairs to the pole. They estimate power should be restored to all customers by 1 p.m.
Police said no one was injured in the accident. They did not know if the crash was weather-related.
