LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — The cold weather turned a work scene serious Wednesday when a worker on a crane became hypothermic and needed assistance getting down, Montgomery County fire officials said.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services responded to a call about 12:36 p.m. Wednesday to Oakmont Avenue in Gaithersburg for a worker trapped on a crane about 200 feet in the air.
Fire officials said a coworker helped bring the victim to the ground.
