Pedestrian Struck in Arlington

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC)– A 30-year-old man was in critical condition Wednesday night after being struck by a vehicle in Arlington.

Arlington County police said the man was hit around 7 p.m. in the 400 block of Carlin Springs Road and was transported to the Inova Fairfax Trauma Center.

The driver remained on the scene of the collision and was also transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Carlin Springs Road was shut down from the eastbound 50 ramp to South 2nd Street.
