UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — Prince George’s County police say they have the suspect in custody for the robbery and shooting of a food delivery driver in Glenarden.
Police said 20-year-old Wayne Hunter Jr. turned himself into authorities on Saturday after a warrant was issued for his arrest charging him with attempted murder and armed robbery. Investigators say a food delivery driver was shot and robbed as he attempted to make a delivery to the 8400 block of Hamlin Street, where Hunter lives.
Police say Hunter also is facing charges related to assaulting a police officer after his arrest. He is being held on a no bond status.
