WASHINGTON — Police in Washington say they are investigating the fatal shooting of a 44-year-old man.

Police say Tracy McFadden of Washington was found lying on the ground in the 2700 block of Georgia Avenue, NW, early Saturday suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead later at a local hospital.

Investigators say the department offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone providing information that leads to the arrest and conviction in a homicide in the district.
