Baltimore Ravens starting cornerback Cary Williams joined the Junkies on Friday for a preview of this weekend’s AFC Championship game.
Before talking football though, the Junkies immediately asked Williams about the Manti Te’o debacle and how it would be handled in the Raven’s locker room.
“We got guys in the locker room that love to joke, love to have fun. You can’t have skin like a baby deer in our locker room. You got to be a tough guy. Got to be able to take jokes.”
Williams also shared his reactions to last week’s stunning come from behind victory over the Denver Broncos, including Joe Flacco’s long touchdown pass to Jacboy Jones. “That was a jaw dropping play, man. I was on the sideline like “WOW”…I still had hope. I never would have thought they would have let a guy get 70 on them. Not like that.”
Later in the interview, the Junks asked Williams if he has hate in his heart for the New England Patriots. “There is no love, I don’t like them at all,” said Cary. “I’m trying to compare to see if I hate them as much as I hate Pittsburgh.”
Williams fun interview with the Junkies, even prompted EB to switch who he was rooting for this weekend.
