RICHMOND, Va. — A Prince George County man has claimed a $1 million Powerball prize to become the Virginia Lottery’s eighth such winner in the past eight weeks.
Keith Copeland of Disputanta claimed his winnings on Tuesday. He matched the first five numbers in the Jan. 12 Powerball drawing. The winning numbers were 10, 14, 21, 23, 47 and Powerball 7.
Copeland bought his ticket at Salem Market in Petersburg.
