LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Montgomery County police are investigating a drug-related shooting Monday night in Olney that left one man seriously injured.

Police were called about 10:33 p.m. to the 3900 block of Morningwood Drive in Olney for a report of a shooting. Police said three men were in a vehicle when one man shot another man in the vehicle.

The victim was transported to a hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive, according to police.

The shooting still is under investigation.
