CLINTON, Md. (CBSDC/AP) — With flu cases on the rise in Maryland and nationwide, Prince George’s County is hosting free vaccination clinics.
The Prince George’s County Health Department will offer free nasal-spray flu vaccines at the Cheverly Health Center and the Dyer Regional Health Center in Clinton on Monday.
No appointments are necessary for the clinics.
Anne Arundel County also will give away the vaccine Monday at the Glen Burnie Health Center.
State health officials say flu is widespread across Maryland, but there are signs it may be stabilizing. Most of the recent cases involve people older than 65. Flu vaccinations are recommended for everybody 6 months or older.
