ROCKVILLE, Md. (CBSDC) - Rockville Pike has re-opened near Monroe Place in Rockville after a pedestrian was struck Friday evening.
Montgomery County Police say a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection near the Rockville Metro, AMTRAK and MARC station around 5:30 p.m.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
This is the latest in a series of crashes involving pedestrians in Maryland in the last week.
Four people were hit by a car Thursday evening in Glen Burnie. Six others were struck by cars or trucks in crashes in Montgomery, Howard and Baltimore Counties earlier this week.
