LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — You know that dream where you hurry out of the house and everyone is staring at you, but you can’t figure out why until you realize you’re not wearing any clothes?
Ahh, public humiliation!
While the vast majority of us prefer to keep everything covered and avoid the awkward stares, there are others who will relish the opportunity. And this Sunday can prove to be that awkward dream come true for free-spirited individuals … sort of.
The sixth annual No Pants Subway Ride will take place on Sunday afternoon in the District.
Hundreds of people — pants in tact — are expected to congregate at the Hancock Park by the L’Enfant Metro station at 2 p.m. Once assembled, the group will head down into the station, board a train and ‘drop trou’ when the time is right.
The event is being organized by Improve Everywhere who says the point of the day is not to protest pants, but to enjoy the hilarity of people simply forgetting their pants.
Similar events will also be held in dozens of cities around the world on Sunday.
