ROCKVILLE, Md.— Montgomery County police say two men accused of trying to carjack a food deliveryman in Rockville have been arrested.
Police say the men, including one showing a gun, approached the driver Monday night as he returned to his car after a delivery in the 1600 block of Yale Place.
They ordered the driver away from the car and got in, but couldn’t operate its manual transmission and then ran away.
Police say officers later found both suspects and also recovered a backpack containing a semi-automatic replica BB gun.
The suspects face charges including armed carjacking and motor vehicle theft. They’re being held on bond.
