(LANHAM, Md.) – Prince William police officer Chris Yung, 35 was killed in a motorcycle crash in Bristow Monday afternoon.

The 7-year member of the department was involved in a fatal collision with a minivan at 2:04 p.m.

Police say the minivan was making a left-hand turn into a shopping center when it collided with Yung’s motorcycle.

Yung was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. There were no other injuries reported.

The accident has shut down Va. 28 near Piper Lane just outside of Manassas, Va.
