Man Found Dead in Car in Capitol Heights, Identified

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. (CBSDC) – Police in Prince George’s County are investigating the death of a man found with a gunshot wound in a car early Thursday morning.

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Pepper Mill Drive and Drylog Street in Capitol Heights at 6:54 a.m.

Inside the car, they found 21-year-old Nichols Andrew Battle, of Capitol Heights, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives have not identified a suspect or motive in the case.
