GAITHERSBURG, Md. — Police in Montgomery County are investigating the armed robbery of a Pizza Hut restaurant in Gaithersburg.

Police say it happened just before 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at a Pizza Hut at the Festival Shopping Center in the 200 block of Muddy Branch Road.

Police say a man with a gun stole an unknown amount of money and was last seen fleeing on foot. No one was injured.
