HONOLULU (AP) — How President Barack Obama spent the third day of this Christmas vacation on Monday in Hawaii:

— GYM: Obama headed to Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe for a morning workout.

— GOLF: After returning briefly to his family’s vacation home, Obama went back to the Marine base for his second round of golf during the trip.

— TRACKING SANTA: While Obama golfed, Michelle Obama spent about 30 minutes talking with kids who were tracking the progress of Santa Claus throughout the world through a site set up by the North American Aerospace Defense Command.

— BEACH: When Obama finished playing golf, he met up with his family at Pyramid Rock Beach on the Marine base, staying there briefly before heading back to their vacation home.
