ASPEN HILL, Md. (CBSDC) - Police have arrested a suspect wanted for shooting a victim in the face in Aspen Hill late Tuesday afternoon.
Montgomery County police say they arrested 19-year-old Demacrius Damone Grays, of the 4400 block of Fishermans Court in Olney, around 10 a.m. Wednesday morning, one day after a shooting in North Gate Park in Aspen Hill.
He has been charged with first-degree murder.
The victim – who has remained unidentified – was taken to a local hospital after suffering a gunshot wound to the eye and is still in “grave” condition, according to police.
Police believe Grays and the victim know each other and the shooting stemmed from a disagreement between them.
