SPRINGFIELD, Va. (CBSDC) — A 43-year-old woman fears she may be the 14th victim of a serial groper in Fairfax County.
The woman says a man grabbed and touched her from behind as she walked in the 6000 block of Hibbling Ave. in Springfield around 5:45 p.m. Thursday. Police say the man ran from the area after the woman turned and screamed.
The attacker is a man between 20 and 30 years old. He wore a black jacket and black pants at the time of the incident according to police.
The latest incident comes just hours after a 23-year-old woman told police she was groped Thursday morning and two days after a 49-year-old woman reported a similar attack while running along Blarney Stone Drive near Omega Court.
