WASHINGTON (CBSDC) - Metro says it’s single-tracking between Medical Center and Friendship Heights after experiencing a cracked rail along the Red Line.
Riders have been experiencing delays of up to 15 to 20 minutes since the problem was first noticed around 11 a.m. on Wednesday, according to Metro.
The problem is expected to be cleared up in time for the evening rush.
