ASHBURN, Va. (CBSDC) — Robert Griffin III was on the field for the portion of practice open to media members Wednesday morning.
It is unknown whether the Washington Redskins quarterback, who suffered a mild knee sprain in Sunday’s win over the Baltimore Ravens, will be able to fully participate in all team drills or whether he’ll be limited.
The portion of practice opened to media is largely limited to stretching and light jogging.
Griffin was wearing sweat pants, making it difficult to discern whether he was wearing a brace.
His appearance and participation in the early portion of practice does not guarantee he will be able to play in the critical road contest against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
Kirk Cousins, who spelled Griffin following the injury, was also on the field.
Mike Shanahan said Monday Griffin was definitely not ruled out for this weekend’s contest.
A further update is expected at the conclusion of practice.
